Ministry of Education successfully tops up government subsidised blue student eTransport cards

The Ministry of Education has successfully topped up more than 80,000 government subsidised blue student eTransport cards which are now eligible for redemption ahead of the start of Term 2 on Monday.

The Minister for Education has highlighted that students carrying blue eTransport can access these funds by using the “redeem” function on any eTicketing machines installed on buses, or by visiting any Vodafone/Valuefone and Mr Mobile outlets or District Education Offices.

Akbar adds that students can also use the new E‑ticketing KIOSK machines at Suva, Nausori and Nadi bus stands.

She says that all cards were open for redemption from Wednesday and Akbar is urging parents and students to redeem these funds before the start of Term 2 on Monday, 6th May 2019.

Parents and Guardians can call the Ministry’s toll‑free helpline on 163 if they have any further queries.
