The Ministry of Civil Service will continue to create awareness on the benefits of adopting healthy eating habits amongst civil servants and their families with respective ministries, departments and agencies.

Permanent Secretary for Civil Service, Parmesh Chand says the Ministry will convene a series of training and awareness workshops for the officers.

Chand says they will enlighten officers on healthy foods for consumption and will also get them to work closely with contracted caterers to ensure there is less intake of salt, oils and sugar.

He says Ministry will also get renowned people and successful sports personalities to come and give presentations and lectures that will contribute to wellness and improved health of officers.
