Education Minister, Doctor Mahendra Reddy has raised serious concerns in relation to some people who continue to criticise the free milk initiative for Year 1 students.

While responding to questions raised on the storage of the milk and bulk supplying to the schools, Doctor Reddy said all the logistical plans have been laid out and explained to all the schools in the country.

While some have started asking on when the kindergarten students will get the free milk, Doctor Reddy said there are no plans as yet as they have just started with the initiative.

More than 20,000 Year 1 students are now getting free milk and breakfast cereal every day.
