Mike Tyson shows he's still got the goods ahead of return to ring
Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has shown he still has the goods, ahead of his planned return to the ring.

The 53-year-old is eyeing up some fights for charity, and in one five-second video of a training session, posted to Twitter, gave a stunning look at what he's still capable of.

Working the mitts and body protector, Tyson unleashes a brutal flurry of powerful punches at lightning quick speed, in a flat out scary proposition for anyone who may come up against him.

Tyson remains the youngest world heavyweight champion ever, when he claimed the WBC title in 1986, aged 20. He went on to forge a 50-6 record, including 44 knockout wins, with his last professional fight being in 2005.
