Mick Beddoes announced as provisional candidate with 12 others for Unity Fiji

Former Leader of the Opposition, Mick Beddoes

Former Opposition Leader, Mick Beddoes is part of the 13 additional provisional candidates announced for Unity Fiji.

Other provisional candidates are Inoke Devo, Noleen Billings, Laisenia Nawai-tabu, Mesake Tuwai, Tipo Vai-oma, Vae-oma Tungi, Solomone Faga, Tevita Rai-ova, Navitalai Roko-tui-tai, Maretino Waqalevu, Ropate Sivo and Ope-taia Tui Matawalu.

Party Leader Savenaca Narube says he is satisfied with the diversity of skills, qualifications and experience of their provisional candidates.

Narube says they range from a former Leader of Opposition, a former Permanent Secretary, a former Divisional Commissioner, teachers, administrators, lawyers, medical doctors, farmers, business people and community leaders.

He says their provisional candidates believe and have a collective confidence in their vision of Unity in Diversity.

He further says the 13 provisional candidates take their total to 53 and they intend to nominate 55 candidates for this year’s general elections.
