Serious concerns have been raised on steel being removed from culverts in different parts of the country as this would become problematic for people and our infrastructure during flash floods.
As we are days away from the start of the cyclone season, Fiji Roads Authority’s Mike Rudge is concerned.
Rudge said the cost of the metal thefts from the culverts is already over half a million dollars.
