Meli Derenalagi to feature for Navy Blue in Escott Shield final

Fiji Airways Men's National 7s captain Meli Derenalagi

Fiji Airways Men's National 7s team captain Meli Derenalagi will feature for the Fresh'et Navy Blue side against Police Blue in the Digicel Escott Shield final at Albert Park today.

Derenalagi will start at openside flanker with Suva's Elia Canakaivata at blindside flanker.

Lemeki Damu is at number 8.

Some of Suva's Skipper Cup winning players like Manasa Saulo, Mateo Qolisese, Sorovakatini Tuifagalele, Jone Manu, Taniela Soqowasaloa, Apisai Vota, Apisai Vatubuli, Vesi Rarawa and Aporosa Kenatale will also feature for Navy Blue.

Navy Blue will face Police Blue at 4pm today at Albert Park in the Escott Shield final while Eastern Saints will meet Freshet Navy White at 1.30pm in the final of the Digicel Koroturaga competition.

In the women’s competition, Army will face Striders in the Senitoa Cup.
