McKee names experienced and powerful squad for 2017 Pacific Nations Cup

Vodafone Flying Fijians Coach, John McKee has named an experienced and powerful squad for the 2017 Pacific Nations Cup and 2019 Rugby World Cup Qualifiers.

Following their successful performances against Italy and Scotland, McKee says the players needed to remain consistent and continue with their level of commitment and performance at the PNC.

The forwards will include Campese Maáfu, Peni Ravai, Joeli Veitayaki, Manasa Saulo, Kalivati Tawake, Sunia Koto, Tuapati Talemaitoga, Leone Nakarawa, Tevita Cavubati, Api Ratuniyarawa, Viliame Mata, Nemani Nagusa, Akapusi Qera, Mosese Voka, Dominiko Waqaniburotu and Peceli Yato.

The backs includes Serupepeli Vularika, Henry Seniloli, Ben Volavola, Jale Vatubua, Eroni Vasiteri, Vereniki Goneva, Asaeli Tikoirotuma, Josua Tuisova, Patrick Osborne, Timoci Nagusa, John Stewart and Benito Masilevu.

The team will depart for Tonga on Tuesday.

The Flying Fijians will take on Tonga at 2pm next Saturday.

Meanwhile Tonga has defeated Samoa 30-26 in the opening match of the PNC today.
