Digicel Young Kulas rising star, Rebecca McGoon hopes that the team will bring glory to Fiji by winning the crucial semi final of the OFC U19 Women’s Championship.

McGoon says they have prepared well and will ensure that the training will pay off today as they face the Samoan side in the first semi finals this afternoon.

Her defensive capabilities and dedication quickly earned her respect from coach Angeline Chua and her teammates.

She says her mother and sister have played a pivotal role in shaping her journey as a footballer by always encouraging and beliving in her abilities.

She further says today's semi final match holds immense significance for her and the Digicel Young Kulas side.

Coach Angeline Chua encourages people to come in numbers and support the team as tickets are free.

The Young Kulas will take on Samoa at 3 this afternoon at the HFC Bank Stadium.
