McDonald’s Fiji is looking forward to starting construction on its fifth restaurant in Nakasi by the end of this year.

Director Marc McElrath says they have got the general approval and they are currently in the final stages of designing.

McElrath says they are also waiting for approval from other stakeholders such as Fiji Roads Authority, Nasinu Town Council and the Ministry of Local Government.

He adds once the designing phase is completed they will then be able to determine how much they will invest in the project.

McElrath says the Nakasi outlet will have a new design which will be similar to the latest designs in Australia.
