Kylian Mbappe was the man of the moment as he scored twice for France beating Denmark 2-0 in the FIFA World Cup this morning.

Mbappe scored in the 61st and the 86th minute and now has 3 goals to his name tying with Enner Valencia of Ecuador.

France is the first team to qualify for the Round of 16 knockout stages with two wins from two games.

In a game played last night, Australia recorded its first win since the 2010 World Cup beating Tunisia 1-0.

In 2010, the Socceroos beat Serbia 2-1.

Australia only needs a draw against Denmark to qualify for the Round of 16 knockout stages.

In another result, Poland beat Saudi Arabia 2-0.

Meanwhile, a physical encounter between Argentina and Mexico is currently underway.
