Mau Primary students to take computer education

Mau Primary students to take computer education
The Mau Primary School teachers were excited with the announcement by the Education Ministry that the students are to take computer education.

The Minister Filipe Bole made the announcement while visiting the school earlier this week.

Computer education is strongly encouraged in primary schools and the grants provided should enable schools to purchase computers for students use.

He said the grants must be used up before the term ends and must not be saved.

Meanwhile the Curriculum Advisory Unit of the Ministry of Education has developed the syllabus and the text book for Computer education for primary schools in 2012.
