Marist defeat Lomary 16-12 in the Southern Zone U19 final

Marist Brothers High School has defeated Lomary Secondary 16-12 in the Vodafone Southern Zone Secondary School Rugby U19 final at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Mikaele Senibua scored the lone try for Marist and the try was converted by Josaia Buakula.

Buakula also converted three penalties for Marist.

Lomary scored 3 tries from Timothy Tagotago and Waisale Waqanisau.

The Southern Zone Deans U18 final between Grammar and Marist are currently underway with Marist leading 3-0.

In other results, Grammar won against Marist 15-12 in the U14 final, Marist defeated Grammar 17-5 in the U15 final, Lomary lost to Naitasiri 20-0 in the Raluve U16 final, Marist U16 beat Grammar 19-12, and MGM beat Marist 17-13 in the U17 final.

In the playoff results, Nasinu U14 defeated CMF 10-3, Nasinu U15 beat Gospel 17-0, Nasinu defeated Dudley U16 17-10, the Grammar U17 beat Nasinu 17-10, Nasinu thrashing Sacred Heart 52-0 and Naitasiri defeating Nasinu 12-10.

All finals will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium and all the elimination rounds will be held at the Buckhurst ground.

The Eastern Zone Dean's final admission is $10 for the Grandstand, $7 for the Concrete stand and $5 for the Embankment.
