Marist U18 beats Grammar in the Southern Zone U18 final

Marist has defeated Suva Grammar School 17-0 in the Southern Zone U18 Deans final at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Lui Mainavatuiwai scored the first try for Marist and Aisea Nawai converted his own try to secure the victory for Marist.

Looking at the Vodafone Super Deans National quarters, Marist will face RKS, Grammar will play Cuvu College, Nasinu Secondary will face QVS while Natabua will play Lelean.

In other Southern Zone results, Grammar won against Marist 15-12 in the U14 final, Marist defeated Grammar 17-5 in the U15 final, Lomary lost to Naitasiri 20-0 in the Raluve U16 final, Marist U16 beat Grammar 19-12, MGM beat Marist 17-13 in the U17 final and Marist beat Lomary 16-12 in the U19 final.

In the playoff results, Nasinu U14 defeated CMF 10-3, Nasinu U15 beat Gospel 17-0, Nasinu defeated Dudley U16 17-10, the Grammar U17 beat Nasinu 17-10, Nasinu thrashed Sacred Heart 52-0 and Naitasiri defeating Nasinu 12-10.
