Marist 7s: Seahawks, Navy Womens, Striders and Lilians Amazon to battle in Women's semi finals

Seahawks, Navy Womens, Striders and Lilians Amazon have booked their spot in the 49th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s Women's semi finals after winning their respective quarter final matches at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Seahawks defeated Tagimoucia Ranadi 17-5 during the first quarter final after scoring three tries.

Striders beat CHM Sinukakala Amazons 17-0, Navy Women's demolished Marist 43-0 and Lilian Amazon thrashed Vuna Sisters 44-5.

The women's semi-final will be held at 4.50pm today, and the final will be at 7.35 tonight.

Looking at the U21 pre-elimination results, DHL Raiwaqa defeated Marist 19-14, Navakawau Rugby beat Nabouwalu Enterprise Selection 22-0, Radisson Naduruniu thumped Bilolevu Wainimala 26-0 and Savali Logistics beat Aqua Pro Savuiqali 10-5.

The men's competition starts at 7 this morning and will be played on two grounds, the HFC Bank Stadium and Buckhurst Park.

At the HFC Bank Stadium, Dimension Brothers Nadogo will take on DXC Army Red at 7am, followed by Nakavu Rugby facing Yavirau at 7.15am, Nawaka will meet Dominion Brothers at 7.30am, Bureta Young Boys will meet Brothers 7s at 7.45am, and St Gabriel Nakavika will face Bula Ballers Vatukuro at 8am.

Matches at Buckhurst Park, Marist will face Yis Kava Vacalea Young Boys at 7am, Serua Cagivou 7s will meet Flame Tree Colo I Suva at 7.15am, Marist St Joseph Samoa will take on Eco Retreat Namosi Highlanders at 7.45am and TEMC Naboutini will play Beyond Barbarians at 8am.
