Marist 7s: Army women's 7s team thrash Marist 39-0

The Army women 7s team was too strong as they thrashed Marist 39-0 in their first game at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Laced with Fijiana reps, Army scored five unanswered tries.

Captain Reapi Uluinasau scored a try early and kicked 3 conversions in the first half.

Former Fiji sprinter Laisani Moceisawana proved too fast on the wing as she got a try early in the second half.

Other tries came from Vasiti Solikoviti, Seseneli Donu and Lavena Cavuru.

In other results, Seahawks thrashed Saint Teresa 52-0, Police beat Savusavu 39-0 while Wardens won by default over Eteni Rukunirara.

The second round of U21 games is currently underway.
