Many say change of government in Australia expected
Australian Federal Elections to be held this Saturday.

CFL News Director Vijay Narayan has more on this.

It’s just days away from the Australian Federal Elections and many people are already openly saying in Australia that there will be a change of government.

The Liberal’s national coalition led by Tony Abbott is predicted to win and form government after the results come out this Saturday night.

According to the national polls in Australia, Abbott’s coalition has taken the lead with 43% support, while Rudd’s Labour party has 33%.

In another poll, Tony Abbott has 43% of support for ‘Preferred Prime Minister of Australia’, while Rudd has 41%.

And it gets worse for Kevin Rudd and the Australian Labour party as the Morgan Poll said that Rudd’s own seat in Griffith, Brisbane is under threat.

It is right now 50-50 on whether Rudd would win his own seat.

However, Tony Abbott has stressed that people should not believe the polls.

He said the elections would be incredibly close this Saturday.

Only time will tell, but Fiji is definitely closely watching who wins as the Liberals have already said that they would change their approach towards Fiji if they win on Saturday.
