High Court Judge, Justice Salesi Temo has refused to release Meli Tamani on bail who allegedly stole $50,253.10 from City Forex in Laucala Bay in February this year.
Tamani also allegedly stole $18,585.30 in foreign currency.
Tamani’s lawyer, Krisheel Chang told the court that Tamani and his family are facing financial hardships and Tamani’s youngest child will start schooling next year.
Justice Temo then told Tamani that education is free and denied his bail application.
