A man who allegedly raped a boy has pleaded not guilty to all the charges laid against him in the Suva High Court.
He is charged with one count of an unnatural offence, one count of assault with intent to commit rape and three counts of rape.
The 27‑year‑old man allegedly committed the offence in a settlement in Colo-i-Suva between January 2010 to January 2014.
He lived in the same settlement with the boy.
It was heard in court that the boy was below the age of 13 when the alleged offence was committed.
The trial of the man will start in the Suva High Court this hour in closed court before Justice Riyaz Hamza.
