Man who allegedly planted marijuana plants remanded in custody

The 40-year-old man who was arrested after the seizure of more than 10 plants believed to be marijuana has been remanded in custody.

The raid was conducted at the suspect’s farm in Malevu, Sigatoka yesterday by the Drugs Taskforce team.

The man is facing one count of unlawful cultivation of illicit drugs and will re-appear in court on the 15th of this month.
