A 57-year-old man charged with one count of defilement of a girl under the age of 13 years has been granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.
The man is also charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault.
The incident happened in a village in Lau this year.
The 11-year-old girl is the neighbour of the accused.
The case will be called again on the 1st of next month.
