Man taken into custody for allegedly stoning a police vehicle in Nabua

An 18 year old man from Nabua has been taken into custody for allegedly stoning a police vehicle early this morning.

A team of officers operating from the Police Special Response Mobile Command Unit along Mead Road, Nabua were conducting mobile patrols along Bougainville Road after 12 midnight when the man allegedly threw a stone causing damage to the side of the vehicle.

Police say the officers managed to arrest the man.

He is being questioned at Nabua Police Station.
