Man remanded for robbing a shop in Savusavu

One of the two men who stormed a neighbourhood shop at Buca Settlement near the Savusavu Airport last Thursday armed with cane knives has been charged and produced in court by Police.

29-year-old Tatini Tikoledua who is a farmer from Nukunuve Settlement in Savusavu has been remanded in custody.

He is charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

They allegedly stole more than $1000 cash.

Police confirm investigators have managed to recover some of the stolen cash and the search is continuing for the second suspect.
