A 26 year old man who allegedly raped, sexually assaulted and abducted a girl below the age of 17 years has pleaded guilty in the Suva High Court today.
Manasa Ratuloaloa allegedly abducted, raped and sexually assaulted the girl in Nausori on the 25th of June last year.
It was also revealed in court that he took the girl without her grandmother’s knowledge.
Ratuloaloa was also questioned in court by High Court Judge, Justice Thushara Rajasinghe if he was forced by anyone to plead guilty, Ratuloaloa said that he was not forced in any way.
The case will be again called next Tuesday.
