A construction worker from Waikete Village in Tailevu has passed away after a work site accident in Nausori.
Police say the man was working at the Old Nausori Bus Stand site when a trench he was working on caved in and trapped him under the soil.
The man was then rushed to the Nausori Health Centre where he was administered CPR but was later pronounced dead.
