A man in his 40s passed away this morning after being hit by a vehicle along Kings Road near Nadolodolo, Tavua.
According to Police, the man was sleeping on the roadside when the incident occurred at around 3 o'clock this morning.
The driver is in Police custody in Tavua.
Police are carrying out further investigations.
