A 44‑year‑old man has been jailed for an aggravated robbery case which led to a man being seriously injured with a cane knife last year.
In his sentence, Justice Vinsent Perera said it was a home invasion which happened around midnight.
He said masked men broke into the house, seriously injured the complainant and stole items.
The incident happened in Samabula.
Turi Lesubula and others stole mobile phones and cash to the total value of $5,625.00.
He has been sentenced to 7 years 9 months imprisonment.
A non parole period of 5 years 9 months has been set.
