Man involved in alleged Samabula sacrilege case will get his day in court tomorrow

Samuela Tawase, the man who was involved in the alleged sacrilege case at the Shiv Temple in Samabula has had his case adjourned to tomorrow.

Tawase had his case adjourned as Magistrate Josaia Waqaivolavola was not in court this morning.

He appeared before Magistrate Sophina Ali instead.

The 28-year-old was supposed to have had his psychic evaluation reviewed by Magistrate Waqaivolavola.

Tawase is charged with one count of sacrilege and one count of throwing object.

It is alleged that the 28-year-old jumped the temple fence and destroyed the idols with a crowbar on July 13th.
