A man involved in a road accident on the 29th of last month has passed away at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, as Police continue to seek help in identifying the victim.

Police had earlier issued a request for information on the 1st of this month on behalf of Totogo Traffic, as they were unable to identify the victim.

Police say he was allegedly hit by a bus while crossing the road along Edinburgh Drive.

They say the victim is an I-Taukei male, believed to be between 55 to 60 years old and has a tattoo of a cross on his right hand and another tattoo of an animal head on his left hand.

Police are urging anyone with information that could help identify him to call Crimestoppers on 919 or the Central Division Command Centre on 8932874.
