A 48-year-old farmer of Qeledamu Settlement in Wainikoro, Labasa is in police custody for allegedly murdering his wife last night.
Police say the suspect is alleged to have attacked his wife with a cane knife causing her serious injuries which resulted in her death.
Investigations continue.
