Man in custody for allegedly causing an incident
A 43 year old man of Lautoka is still in police custody for allegedly causing an incident that resulted in two teenage girls sustaining injuries during a Carnival on Saturday night.

Police said at 8pm at Churchill Park, the suspect is alleged to have shaken the seat of a ferris wheel ride while it was in motion resulting in the two victims aged 13 years falling from their seat. 

One of the victims fell to the ground while the second victim slipped but managed to hold on to the bar.

Both victims were conveyed to the Lautoka Hospital where one of the students is admitted at the trauma ward while the second victim was treated and sent home. 

The suspect was allegedly drunk at the time of the incident.
