High Court Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza has found a 32‑year‑old man guilty of the alternative count of sexual assault of his de-facto partner's 4‑year‑old daughter.
He has been acquitted of two counts of rape.
The incident occurred in Navua on the 16th of March this year.
The sentencing hearing will be held on the 7th of December.
