A man has been found guilty of raping his 14-year-old stepdaughter in 2014 in Nadi by Lautoka High Court Judge, Justice Sunil Sharma.
The incident happened between 1st May to the 31st of August 2014.
While giving his judgement Justice Sharma said that as a result of what the man was doing, the girl got pregnant.
Justice Sharma says that the complainant had informed her mother of the incidents and the mother told her not to lie and not to be cheeky.
He says one time the mother beat the complainant with a hose pipe.
The matter has been adjourned till the 18th of this month.
