A man passed away following an accident near Korovuto along the Queens Highway last night.
The man who was in his late 50s was from Korovuto.
Police say the man is alleged to have suddenly crossed the road when he was hit by a vehicle.
The victim was rushed to the Nadi Hospital where he passed away early this morning.
The driver of the vehicle drove to the Nadi Police Station and reported the matter.
