A man from Davuilevu passed away following an accident near the junction of Nasinu Road, along the Kings Highway at around 7pm yesterday.
Police say the man was driving towards Valelevu with two other passengers and upon reaching the Nasinu Road junction, the vehicle hit the trailer of a truck.
They were taken to the Valelevu Health Centre where the driver was pronounced dead on arrival.
A 19-year-old is currently admitted in the CWM Hospital.
