A man in his 40s has been charged with one count of murder for allegedly causing the death of his de-facto wife.
The incident happened on Sunday in their home at Nanuku Settlement, Vatuwaqa.
Police say the man allegedly stabbed the woman who was in her 20s, causing her serious injuries which resulted in her death.
He will be produced in the Suva Magistrates Court today.
