A 21-year-old man has been charged for allegedly obtaining money through the MPaisa platform and will appear in the Ba Magistrates Court today.
The Fiji Police Force MPaisa Task Force says it is alleged that the accused from Ba, during January 2024, unlawfully obtained money meant for Back To School Education assistance from a member of the public through the MPaisa platform.
He has been charged with one count of obtaining financial advantage.
