Man charged after death of taxi driver

A man has been charged with one count of manslaughter following the death of a taxi driver in his late 40s in Narere on Sunday night.

The 31-year-old man will appear in the Nasinu Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The second suspect is still being questioned as investigations continue.

Police say the two were arguing with the victim over a truck which was parked in his driveway and one of the suspects allegedly pushed the victim who landed on a pile of wood.

According to Police, the victim was rushed to the Valelevu Health Centre where he was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival.
