Man arrested in Kinoya after white substance believed to be methamphetamine found in car

A man has been arrested in Kinoya after being found in possession of three zip-lock bags containing white substances, believed to be methamphetamine, were found under the car doormat.

Police say the driver and three passengers were parked at a restaurant in Kinoya when officers approached them.

They add a K-9 team from the Fiji Dog Detector Unit was deployed to search the vehicle, and the dog indicated the presence of illicit drugs.
