Man arrested after dried leaves believed to be marijuana and smoking apparatus found in his car

A man is in police custody after he was found with green leaves believed to be marijuana, smoking apparatus and syringes in Mead Road last night.

Police say the 35-year-old man from Koronivia was arrested after his vehicle was checked during a routine road block along Princes Road at about 10.30pm yesterday.

Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations ACP Livai Driu says the confiscated items have been sent for testing as investigations continue.
