A man from Nadoi Village in Rewa appeared before High Court Judge, Justice Vinsent Perera today for the alleged rape of a 7-year-old girl.
Taione Petero Senikuta is charged with one count of rape.
The alleged incident took place on the 29th of April this year.
Senikuta will file his bail application today and make an application for a legal aid lawyer to represent him.
The case has been called on the 20th of June for plea.
