A man accused of raping a boy in 2015 in a settlement in Nadi has been acquitted by the Lautoka High Court.
High Court Judge Justice Rangajeeva Wimalasena acquitted the man of two counts of rape.
Justice Wimalasena agreed with the unanimous opinion of the assessors.
The Judge said the complainant’s evidence was not consistent adding that his evidence was not credible and reliable.
