Get ready for Fiji to be suspended from the Commonwealth and the Pacific Islands Forum later this year because elections will not be held this year.
Those were the words of former Prime Minister and SVT Leader Sitiveni Rabuka as he stressed that people need to look at the reality of the situation before just pushing for elections this year.
Rabuka who led the first two coups in Fiji in 1987 said the interim government should also be mindful of the current situation and call election on 2011.
Rabuka represented the SVT in the political forum chaired by Bainimarama last Friday.
