A major breakthrough in the $1 million heist.
Two Singapore nationals have been charged in relation to the $1 million in new Fiji $20 notes that was stolen offshore before the container arrived at the Suva Wharf on the 4th of September this year.
Police spokesperson Fred Elbourne said the two have appeared in court after a successful operation involving the Fiji Police and their counterparts in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Elbourne also confirmed that quite a large amount of the loot has also been recovered.
