People can now access the Naqoro Junction, which is the main entrance to Rakiraki Town while Qalau and Korotale roads are also open for traffic. Rakiraki and Tavua Town Council Chief Executive Officer, Sailosi Sawana says flood water level in Rakiraki Town has now receded.

Sawana says water level has receded in some parts of Tavua.

The Nadi Weather Office says a flood warning remains in force for low lying and flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of Nakauvadra River in Rakiraki and Nasivi River in Tavua.
