Unity Fiji Leader, Savenaca Narube confirms they are talking with SODELPA regarding working together before the elections and an announcement will be made soon.

Narube says the concept of all opposition parties uniting before the elections has not been successful and they are now open to discussion with any party, except the People’s Alliance, National Federation Party and FijiFirst.

When asked why they are not open to discussion with the three political parties, Narube says the NFP and People’s Alliance have formed a partnership and did not invite them while he does not believe in the policies of the FijiFirst.

When questioned regarding the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the leaders of the Fiji Labour Party, Freedom Alliance and Unity Fiji in October 2021 to form a united front for the 2022 general elections, Narube says this agreement has lapsed.
