As thousands all over the country took advantage of Boxing Day to relax from the celebrations and festivities many gathered along the famous picnic areas in Suva today.
41-year-old Lusiana Koro spent the Boxing Day with her sister and three children.
Koro says Christmas wasn’t Christmas for her family this year as her husband was away in China for study purposes.
She was among hundreds that took their kids to ‘My Suva Park’ to make the most of the holiday and great weather.
Many people found it difficult to find a picnic spot as the Nasese area was filled with people from many walks of life who engaged in various activities such as fishing, playing games, swimming and just relaxing.
