Low lying areas cautioned
The weather forecast for today is scattered showers over Yasawa and the Mamanucas, Viti Levu, Lau and Lomaiviti, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.

Rainfall is expected to be more frequent and heavy at times from midday.

According to the Nadi office the same is expected for the Central division.

Those in low lying areas are being cautioned that this bout of localised heavy rain may lead to flash flooding.

The weather is expected to start clearing from early tomorrow morning.
