Looking forward to what Hoyt and Tagivetaua bring to the team - Byrne

FIJI Water Flying Fijians Coach Mick Byrne says he is looking forward to what prop Tim Hoyt and possible debutant hooker Kavaia Tagivetaua bring to the team.

Byrne highlighted this to media from their camp in Malaga, Spain saying it is an opportunity for Hoyt to take another chance at that position and also for management to see how he goes.

He says Tagivetaua has been in the Drua program for a couple of years, and it will be quite exciting to see what he can do on game day.

He says he is under no illusions about the challenge that awaits, warning that the Spanish side will be “no walk-over.”

Byrne pointed to Spain’s recent tough encounter with England A and the scare they gave the Flying Fijians during their meeting last November as evidence of their growing threat.

Fiji plays Spain at 4am tomorrow.
