The ATS Employees Trust is currently meeting with Minister for Employment Jone Usamate in relation to the Air Terminal Services workers lock-out issue.
Trust’s Secretary Vili Finau says they are hoping to reach a resolution today.
Finau says they are still having talks with other stakeholders as their stand remains the same that workers should return to work without any condition.
ATS Acting CEO Hare Mani says they will accept the workers if they sign the letters.
Mani says the letters stated that the workers should admit that what they did was wrong in terms of abandoning their jobs.
According to Mani, around 250 workers are currently not at work.
ATS has also advertised 150 positions with a temporary term of three months.
Positions that have been advertised are for passenger assistance agent, kitchen cleaner, catering attendant, cook’s assistant and airline cook.
